Chase for Better Things

There’s always the chase for better things. Which most often than not is a push-pull phenomenon for the wanderer, the wonderer to whom all things must fall into place. We are both eager and afraid to behold what the other side holds for us. That if we take a leap, or even a step, we are so careful not to land on a soft piece of ground even if, before acting upon the uncertainty, we’ve already decided that our hearts are carapaces only God can shatter.
