Leecy of www.sweetparamania.com might as well be Dave Grohl’s number one fan. As such, I tried to ask her if she could drop Dave a message on my behalf and tell him to come and play in the Philippines (yes, my desperation for the Foo Fighters to play here has been blown out to astonishingly shameful proportions). She said she can’t do that because “if I pass a message for you, I have to do it for everyone & there aren’t enough hours in the day.” What she advised me to do instead is to send a birthday greeting to Dave, which she can include in this massive birthday book she puts up for him annually. I had an awesome idea in mind, but the deadline for the greeting is a few minutes from now since, guess what, it’s Dave’s birthday already, and my girlfriend isn’t here yet to supply the needed Photoshopping skills. So I just did what I can. Well, happy birthday, Dave. Hope you get—and heed—my message.
